How do I track my transaction?

Modified on Tue, 8 Sep at 4:38 PM

Open transaction history in Coindisco and select the transaction. Its current status and details sit there, including the provider it went to.

The states a transaction moves through

Depending on the provider and the direction, a transaction can pass through created, pending, processing, completed, failed, canceled or expired. Not every transaction shows every state.

A purchase sits in progress while the payment is confirmed, while the provider reviews the order, or while the network records the transfer. Each stage moves on its own clock.

What to keep

If the transaction needs looking into later, these are what a support request runs on:

  • the Coindisco transaction ID
  • the provider order or transaction ID
  • the wallet address and the network
  • a payment receipt or blockchain transaction hash, where there is one
  • screenshots of the provider status or error

Never post a transaction ID, wallet information, an identity document or payment details in a public channel. They belong in a ticket.
